I found a rescue group in Lufkin, Texas. They met me halfway in Jasper, tx. I filled out an application and was approved, but I haven’t paid yet because this is still the “trial period.”

I knew that was her ! How far a drive was that ? They are trusting to let her go without the $$ Do they expect you to drive back ?

A while. Malpos are tricky because while you see an external pip, that’s actually their internal pip. Still absorbing yolk for the big push. As long as it’s breathing and quiet, it’s still ok. If it starts screaming in distress, you can pick away a bit of shell in a line like it would if it were hatching on its own. Most of the time they do.

Well they do have my home addy. It was almost 2 hours for me, just over 1 for me. But I picked the place. I was going to drive the whole way but my brakes are making noise and I didn’t have time to fix them.

I’m going to mail them some $$ and in May they’ll call my vet and pay by phone to have her spayed. Adoption fee was only $60.

I think there are lots of reasons. Improper turning, and low humidity (chick is too big to turn) are the two that come to mind. I think sometimes it just happens.

Ours are all different. I was willing to pay up to $125 because that’s what spay and shots would cost. The $60 for Josie covers spay and shots, but I have to do the last round myself. They gave me dose.

Long lost family! I have another that could be his mom. She gets a bunch of orange and blonde in the summer!

I have used the ball cap. I just forget about it when the time comes. I guess I rather get clawed.
If Binks wasnt fixed I would come looking for Ace . He gets that same lighter mane in winter. He is the smartest bravest cat I ever had the pleasure to feed.

nice deal! Prices are crazy here (in the hundreds) and doesn’t include anything. Next county over is reasonable but still high.

Thanks everyone. Yes he already has a full head of hair. I he only ones able to see him are the parents. Probably best with all the flu going around.
