Man, it took me a long time to catch up! I slept in today but i am getting up early tomorrow. Have to get to the P.O. before it closes. Short hours on Sat. I think they are having a swap at TSC tomorrow. Maybe they will have chicks! I know they have the free king sized chocolate bars for free with the online coupon!

Hi Cap, I went to our TSC with blinders on today. They did have some chicks in, but mostly meat birds. They had a few ISA Browns & a couple of other kind, but not much. And the one tub just glancing at it I could see 5-6 of them had severe pasty butt. Did tell someone, he said he was surprised because they had just got them in. Do I believe him, I don't know. Maybe he was telling the truth because there wasn't even a Chicks Day sign out front.

I am getting very close to finishing my quail cage. I built the little loft tray for their sand and a ramp. I just have to decide what to use for the roof, and a very small spot below the door that needs wire. Then i can move it where i want it and put the legs on. I wonder if they will have quail at the swap?!

The bunny water system got hooked up today, so 6 bunnies have metal nipples to drink from. It feeds from a 5 gallon bucket so no refilling their bowls unless it freezes. I need to buy more tubing tomorrow.
