Should have left 20 mins ago, but decided to wait for it to warm up a bit first. Have to leave Scooter outside, and he gets cold despite all that hair. Almost 50* now, warmer in the sun. I should get going pretty soon.

I have met tons of pits that are super nice, especially with children. Vast majority of the troubles come when they are not spayed/neutered. (true for other breeds) We had a little bull mastiff that was a quarter pit, and she was the sweetest thing. For the horrible reason that they were bred, was also bred in loyalty to people. They did not make good guard dogs because of that. Modern times and irresponsible breeding has made pit behavior much more iffy. I hate seeing an animal condemned before they have a chance. I'm sure with you raising her, she will be a well behaved lover.
