Granny's gone and done it again

I really need to do it. I did give up soda. It gets so boring dinking water. I am drinking green tea but it also has sugar, not as much as soda. I get headaches from aspartame. Ugh.
I can't have that either. Have you tried stevia? The taste is ok and I don't feel bad from it.

There are at least 4 trees down, that we can see from the house.View attachment 1280833 View attachment 1280834
If i had not parked my truck near the garage to unload last night, it would have been hit by that tree that fell where i generally park it!
Oh wow. Glad nothing too serious happened. Don't work too much!

I went out to take slop to the chickens and let them into their runs. It was terrifying! The trees are all swaying this way and back, could snap off at any moment! Hubby is nearly done with one tree. I begged him to come in, a tree could fall on him. He just said Sh*t happens. :th

I like this man :thumbsup

I hate the way our water tastes. I use lemon juice, mios, and crystal light. There’s a “great value” water enhancer that I like much better than mios, it’s “tropical” flavor and tastes like a snow cone. :D I also get the crystal light with caffeine- peach mango. Crystal light has aspartame but mio uses sucralose. And it has ginseng and b vitamins! :yesss:
Water where I grew up, at the farm, is skunky, sort of sulfury. It's not too bad for cooking or washing, but we used Brita filters for drinking water. Even had a small glass sized one for the bathroom to make tooth brushing better. My dad still filters it.

good afternoon, been busy with book work all morning. Beth aka THE STOMACH is roaming the house and box looking for "treats" , She was so excited when Rod stopped in to drop off eggs as he was in town anyway. There was much sadness on her accout as I didn't break any.

I managed to catch her sort of sleeping Looks to me like she is "setting a large 'table'"

We started last September and now it ls March. So six months, including thanksgiving, Christmas, Mardi Gras, v-day, girls night, and everything else in between. It’s a journey of inches.

I keep watching for the “herd vs hunt” because herding looks too much like hunting, to me. Even Jasper went through a killing phase, so I’m expecting some setbacks. But I think we’ll be able to get through it.
Herding or pointing, whatever her inclination (I see both!) it would be good to know so you can work with her nature and not against it. There's got to be a club in your area somewhere.

So your DH has kicked the sugar habit too? I need to give it try, but seem to have lost all my ambition these days. I did manage to get off refined sugar and white flour for a couple of months one time, and lost 15 lbs. I know I would feel better...

she has all her ducks in a row . aka guineas. She seems a little too interested in them.
Hi all again. I need to eat sumpin.
You should see the Border Collies in action. They look like pack of wolves hunting... very aggressive looking. That's what Josie looks like to me.

I do it because I hate having a to do list. Things hanging over my head. I want it over and done. Im not going to make it to the store today, didnt get a burger and dont have a clue. LOL
Isn't that a movie? Granny Git 'er Done!
oh wait

I get frustrated grocery shopping with hubs. For me it's a chore to do quickly, in-out-home, no messing around, check off the list. For him it's an outing. He goes exploring, looks at everything, doubles back, disappears... generally takes half again as long as me going alone. But he does help with the lifting and carrying! :)
