Yeah, it was heart breaking. Had 2 live pups though and Mama lived. Had the dog spayed during the section surgery. Not putting her through that again!

It was left up to me to decide. I had it done in the animal ER. Cost a fortune.

Keep a bowl of water available. So she can drink if she needs to. I would move them into the whelping box. Set up a box with a heating pad in the bottom so when she delivers the next one you can put the pups in there until you get the next one go8ng.

Yes that’s good. We sometimes take them out for a walk to help the puppies move down

Some breeds always have c sections, bull dogs and such.

My vet refuses to spay at c section. Very dangerous for the bitch. Unless there is a medical reason like hemorrhage
