Beth is the first momma I have ever had who would pick/drag her pups around to where she wanted them with her mouth . She seemed to be very careful BUT maybe something happen there or maybe #2 got crushed/laid on. Beth was determined that they all be touching her at all times.

TBH I was hoping for a smallish litter (4-6) for Beth's first time. Seems like my wish is being granted

Yes, could be. If it helps at aall, I went to heroic measures to save a tiny in one litter. She never would nurse, I tube fed her until she could lap milk. She was always tiny, I did testing and could find nothing wrong.
Finally at 18 months we had her spayed, during the spay the vet checked her kidneys, because she kept getting UTI S. Her kidneys were full of cysts. She had poly cystic kidneys. We put her to sleep on the operating table. Very sad day.

I still have 6 healthy looking pups as of this morning

Beth was with them but they were all in a pile a little way away from her this morning. I did put the last female on a plate and then sat and made sure she was "topped off" before finally getting to bed about 2 am.

Those eggs were refrigerated, old and refrigerated 3+ weeks and fresh. The one that didn’t hatch was a fridge egg. I honestly didn’t expect most of them to develop, let alone hatch!
