Granny's gone and done it again

Sigh. To get up and percolate some coffee and start attacking cleaning or...hmm. Bed is comfy. Though I’m amazed peach isn’t on me for her chow.

I am so lucky with her. She understands the concepts of weekends lol. Though if I get up and about she’ll pounce hubs who is still sleeping even if she’s fed...as if to say “moms up why are you still in bed”. Goof dog.

Ooh. I gotta stop by the library today too. Got a book on hold.

Okay. Guess I’ll get up lol

Camp I think you’re beautiful regardless :hugs being healthy is great, wish I could eat healthy balanced meals. Or remember to eat altogether

Thanks! :hugs I believe in you! It’s not that bad, just a day at a time. I start every morning with 2 eggs. Sometimes it’s downhill from there, and sometimes I can stay on track. But it’s important to me to start every single day the same, regardless of what happened the day before. Giving up because of yesterday is the easiest and absolute worst thing we can do.

I have lost 45 lbs over a 15 month period by eating protein, orange & green veggies 5xs a day. Very little refined sugar or flour. Wearing a size 16 now.

YES! I was going to mention you, Jane, and someone else? You’re an inspiration to me with your gardening and everything else. :hugs

I will try :hugs I need to plan ahead on what to eat. Have it all laid out.

I need to lose 40 to 50 lbs Most of it is around the middle. All of it has been put on since I quit smoking 6 yrs ago.

I believe in you, too!
No one on this thread is incapable of anything. We are all stubborn and hard-working, we just have mental blocks against what is “too hard” or “impossible.”

My bff had to make an extremely detailed menu to keep herself on track. She’s doing great! I like to have a list of foods that I should eat, and making sure those are available. You’re pretty particular about your food preferences, so a detailed menu might help you reach your goals. :hugs

When I smoked I could not gain an ounce. After I quit my metabolism went in the other direction. Takes me forever to drop an ounce. It took me 3 years to get the 25 lbs off and 3 months of eating out to put it all back on.

I did make one change lately. I get up early and do rotating exercise sessions. One week it is posture exercises, followed by a week of core strength, a week of balance exercises, a week of abs, and then start over. My endurance is not what it should be, but add in MS and it can be a never-ending battle to improve in any area.
