Granny's gone and done it again

Stress will absolutely do it. I struggle with depression and even with medication some days are just bad. That’s why I try not to punish myself for yesterday’s setbacks. For us it was cooking fresh foods and significantly cutting back on pastas and breads, and also weighing/measuring portions in the beginning. And drinking more water. DH is doing way better than I am and has started running. My feet can’t handle running right now, so I’m trying to walk around more and I’ll start up yoga again one day. :oops:


I do the rotating exercises so that I do not get bored but I can feel like I am doing something. We also do the Pokemon Go. I am the egg hatcher so I have to walk 2 to 20 KM every week.
I also have a pedometer set to count my steps. Some days I manage got get in 3,000 and occasionally usually shopping days I get in over 10,000 steps. lol

YES! That was me too, Fernie. I’ve hated myself and my body for most of my life, but two years ago DH took me on a cruise. I realized literally no one was as worried about my body as I was, and it was freeing. On the second cruise (last year) I could genuinely love myself as I was even though I was surrounded by my young, gorgeous, childless friends. I was happy with my body and how I looked and felt. I was able to climb the to the top of Mayan temples in Belize and snorkel for hours in grand cayman. Only after truly loving myself was I ready to change. It had to be my decision and it had to come from love and not hate.

I am too busy with other things to worry about how I look. I want to be more fit. If I can manage to get more fit at my current weight that is fine. Just want to be rid of the belly. lol
 
Camping, I am very proud of you and you have come a long way from the girl that didnt want to show her picture on here to rocking it ! I would like to think that I have in some very small way helped/encouraged you with my who gives a crap attitude. You are a beautiful person .
