Granny's gone and done it again

We have been getting snow storms, d@MN Mother Nature, she just doesn't play fair. I have to wait to plant the majority of my seeds until I can put them in the green house. My house is very dark, so starting seeds is a huge challenge. I have to turn trays often & rotate locations. Will be better once I can utilize the green house. Temps just need to get a whole lot warmer. I have 2 new tomatoes that I'm trying this year. One called a 4th of July & a sauce tomato. I usually put 6 plants in the green house to get early tomatoes & to have tomatoes late in the growing season. All pepper varieties we put in the green house. With a short growing season here these 2 things do so much better in there.

I’m only doing three this year: rainbow, pineapple, and cherry. But having more plants of each variety instead on one of several varieties. I’ve got way too manny pepper seeds planted! but we can use them on salad bar and in pizza, plus bell pepper is part of the “holy trinity” that goes in all Cajun/creole cooking so we’ll always have a need.

Where did everyone go? Must be the poop stories chased everyone away :lau:gig

My favorite chicken customer called! I haven’t heard from him in months. :love

We use peppers in everything too, plus I can homemade salsa, canned tomatoes & tomato juice. All 3 need peppers. Plus I sell a lot on my veggie stand.

Think I'm going to go relax a bit. Kiddos were up & down last night so not much sleep. Wanting to have an irritating sinus headache as well. I hope everyone has a good night sleep & sweet dreams when it's bedtime.
Goodnight, CL. That tree pollen is really flying around causing trouble!

Welcome to California. It is like a whole other world here. We consider moving, but the weather is sooo nice... whine whine whine

Little ET is no more. RIP little fellow.
So sorry. Was definitely a unique little chick.

It will be 26 years tomorrow that mother passed, 52 never smoked , maybe 2 mixed drinks a year , ate right, exercised everything the "experts" claim one needs to do for a healthy like. SO I sort of believe/do/eat what you like in moderation because when your time is up its up.
More and more they are finding a genetic component to a lot of cancers. It's still important to keep yourself healthy though... one thing leads to another.

I didnt really get to talk to Robert. I asked if he enjoyed it and got a nod yes.
DD just left. she vacuumed, swept and moped . Said she slept good.
Toms rash left as fast as it came. Probably never know what it was.
IF my pain is less its very little . Hurts pretty bad and I got a reminder call from heart dr. appt same time tuesday as new dr.
Tuesday again? :hmm Glad they could change it and glad you are seeing the heart doc.

One eye had ruptured since this morning. Just wasn’t fair to the little guy. :hugs
You did the right thing for sure. You were saying that he couldn't close his lids well last night, so wasn't meant to be. Too bad. Would have been interesting to see how he turned out.

That ear :love :lau We did a bit of short leash work at the farm. I made her sit and stay while the birds came out of the coop, then made her walk back home with me. Making her leave before she was ready was the most difficult part. She self-corrected a few times when she was watching the birds. I’m impressed with how focused she is!
Love the ear. As a pup, Belle's would kind of stick up like that, but she grew out of it.
Did you even come to any conclusion about whether Josie did in that rooster?
