My mom did all of the cooking too, because dad made such a huge mess when he cooked! Even before she passed, he took over all the cooking, laundry, and house chores. Never saw him use the vacuum or washing machine before that, but he's the kind of person who can do anything he sets his mind to, so I wasn't too worried.
um you could always fall back on the old adage "Because I say/said so" or because your an adult.
