Husband started to yell until I pointed out that he controls thermostat and we have to ask for him to up the heat.

Guess it's a good thing I didn't start many seeds. Just found out today that due to my SIL new managers position that he is going to have to take a managers training course out of state & will be gone a week. My dd works nights, so guess who will have to be staying with the grandkids for a week so that there is someone with the kids at night. Threatened hubby that I was going to get a "Real" job so I wasn't quiet so available. No way my seedlings will survive me being gone for a week. Going to be a nightmare for my birds.

You are a great Grandma.

My mom hated DH from the word go. She was jealous of my attention, I guess, and mad that he encouraged me to be more independent. I decided to skip going home for my bday one year: I was working 6 days a week and it was a 3+ hour drive each way. She called and said if I was not home in three hours that she was calling the cops and reporting my car stolen. I spent the whole day crying in bed, but I didn’t give in. Afterwards she called to tell me I was an ingrate because I didn’t thank her for giving me life. In twenty years I had never done that or heard such a thing. It was the beginning of years of erratic, hateful behavior.

Gran y, I use s phone to access byc. Dh bought me a tablet for my bday in October but I haven't set it up yet or moved my recliner to my broom so I can use it comfortably. I have been upset alot lately because of disrespect by my 17 yo GS. I finally had to put him outta here yesterday. So if i'm not very talkative that's why. Im very disappointed in him.

I'm sorry Jane but you do have to draw the line somewhere.

Thank you Fernie, sometimes it get frustrating though. Hate to be away from my home that long. I just have too much work here. Makes catching up very difficult.

Yep, as painful as it is Jane, you have always been there for your grandkids. If he can't respect you, then it was time for him to leave. I know your worried & love him & that it was a very difficult decision to make. Sending many prayers & hugs your way.

Hopefully, it all has sorted itself out. My 15 yr old daughter is not on any and I will not allow her to get on any until she is active. I don't see that happening anytime soon as she says boys are gross and nasty. 5 younger brothers who she shares a bathroom with helped set that. lol

Just wish more young ladies felt that way. Sounds like you've done a great job.
