Idk. I think they are guessing on a delivery date since no one has scanned the box since it left the original po. I am seriously hoping it will come tomorrow because maybe some are still alive. By Monday i am sure they will all be dead. Tuesday is a week from when they left IN.
My quail eggs are due to hatch the 20th, same day as my breast biopsy. They looked like the air cells were big so i upped the humidity. But they all look fertile. I threw out the 2 cracked ones.

Yeah, if not i might have to just keep looking locally. If i need chemo i might need to cut back on animals anyway.
Thanks for the good wishes, Granny. Hope your hen makes it. I have one that is not looking good. She didn't even go into the coop tonight, she just sat out in the run. Thinking she might be dead by morning. Her comb looks bad. Checked her for mites, only saw one small spot, not even sure if it was a bug. She didn't want to hold still. I feel bad i have not retreated the coop, but i have been super busy. I still have spring bulbs to plant.

Did you know some of the new chemos they have now wont cause your hair to fall out ? I dont know if thats a concern of yours or not but my sisters hair didnt

I dont think I have it in me to keep shoving her insides back where they belong. Maybe she does need a stitch. I wouldnt have the right thread .

That is interesting. I would hate for my hair to all fall out. I am ugly enough as it is. I just cut my hair short and sent that pony tail to have a wig made for a kid with cancer. Crazy how things go.
I was out in the workshop tonight. I am working on a barrier to keep the shavings from jamming up the door in the coop. It will make it easier to open and close the door. And i only need the front and the top to finish the third feeder.

I am so sorry about that hen Granny! But you certainly gave it a good try. She might just be prone to prolapse. I am surprised out of all those chickens i had in TN, i never had that problem with one.

You are not ugly. Not in the least bit. If your hair has to go its just hair. Its not who you are. I have heard it will come back . Thicker, fuller sometimes a different color !
