Granny, im glad u got DD some medicine so she cam get better. She needs to be able to take care of her kids.

Dr this am told DD she was too fat to have crones didnt believe her. gave her pain pills she didnt ask for. I told her I was coming to get her and we were going to get to the ahm, bottom of this. She argued with me for a few. said theres no use, they wont do anything, she was tired. bla, bla . I finally told her I am done talking, I am on my way , get you DH home to watch the kids or I will take them to him. She said, you sound like my mom. anyway, Took her to lauranceburg. dr said, I can do bloodwork but if that dont show anything then insurance isnt going to pay for c-scan. I said then I will. he said, well, if we cant find anything, I cut him off. I was not in the mood for bull. I said, If you cant find anything then your looking in the wrong spot ! I want her to have blood work, fluids, nausea meds and a ct-scan and if she dont get these things I will not stop making reports to your superior and up. SO, after they did the fluids and pain and nausea meds, they did the blood work that showed nothing. Then they did the ct-scan that told the whole story. She is very inflamed and full of infection in her intestines. She was released rehydrated , pain free and 2 scripts for 2 different kind of antibiotics . I am just home.

Well good for you. Taught the dr something new today... overweight people CAN have Crohn's.

Not sure why it takes threats to get care for someone. Just like my mom with grandma when the er said they didn't need to xray the top 3 vertebrae, you know, one of the ones that had a fracture all the way through it!!

And did I really brag on my surly teenager last week, saying he had matured lately? Major regression today.

Late again signing up for next semester classes, so very little choice in scheduling. He didn't even know what classes to take! Doesn't want to go to school, wants to work full time at min wage instead. That was not the deal. That is playing while dad works to pay for all his living expenses that he cannot afford on his min wage job... expenses that are considerable in CA. Finally, tonight at 10:30, he starts the process to sign up, but has no clue what or how.

We finally finished at 12:30... tonight. He has to be up by 7 in the morning to get to work. He doesn't know what he wants to do, only what he doesn't want.

I told him to come up with a feasible plan for what he wants to do, and until then, dad and I will make the decisions for him, and tough luck.

ok, I'm done now. Tired and cranky. Can you tell?

H20, i can understand her til she gets upset.

My three year old GD I still can't understand. She can understand me. I love this age. She does everything I ask her. They love yo help.
