well the excess meat is picked off the ham bones (2 of them)  and added back in to the beans along with some other ham that I had diced/trimmed off of various hams.   And excess fat/rind is in the chicken bucket along with some gristle and such. 

 Bones are cooling in the sink.

I now feel like the head of a centipede as every time :rant I head for the kitchen to stir/check on the beans I

have 16 feet padding/thumping behind me   Just in case the bones are for them and cool enough to give to

This is is tickling me so.  I may have made extra trips to the kitchen just to torment them. :oops:

I dont give my dogs cooked bones, only raw.

I'm so frustrated with our stupid little school. They sent a note home YESTERDAY that there is an ugly sweater contest TOMORROW. Luckily dollar general had 50% off Christmas florals. I'm dragging the rest of the decorations from the attic today to see what I can hot glue on a t-shirt.
