Mine had a water bowl with a big sponge in it. Never fed table scraps but they probably wouldn’t like what we had lol bet they will perk up when y’all make it home and it’s warmer. You can always get a 10 gallon later at Walmart. We got five extra shells that are kind of fancy, and we can go to the local beaches for more of the plain kind. I’m super excited to feed them table scraps. We picked up sand, shell bits, and little pieces of driftwood from the beach for them. They’re in that tiny little house, but DH couldn’t be fooled into getting the 10gal tank. He was excited, but not that excited.![]()
chilled. Put them on the window sill if you can.Red is in there, just shy. Or chilled. The temp dropped 20 degrees from yesterday, and at the shop all the crabs were clumped together in big piles. We had to wake them up. DH tried to help bubba pick active ones, so fingers crossed! When I hold Red he comes out a little, but not much.
You're lucky to have water. No power, no water when you have a well. When we were kids, going for a week without power in winter was an adventure. Now it doesn't happen as much, but at least I know what to do... eat all the ice cream!!!yep, in the winter. The ice busted a line in the backyard. Whole road was out.
Hey no one likes to take cold showers!
You like in Ca. That dont count unless its 100 degrees out ! hahahaaYou're lucky to have water. No power, no water when you have a well. Yeah it was bad. I’m just glad I didn’t have any small critters at that time.wow ! That had to be terrible. Last time we lost it for any length of time we went all night and next morning. I took off to Mcdonalds w/ a thermos and filled it and 4 lg. got home, set it on the table and the lights came on. hahaaa
I couldn’t do well water. The next road up has to have water delivered. I’d go crazy if I didn’t have access to it. But hey ice creamYou're lucky to have water. I lived in a house for a yr w/ no water. Community well and no pump either. We did it the old fashion way.
Like 5 miles down the road at the farm. It was like, sooo old school. You got cold... build a fire. Wanna flush during a power outage, grab a bucket and get some flushing water from the creek, but only in winter... no water in summer.Wait, where did you live ?
Trust, you do what you have to. A roof was much better then sleeping bags. Besides, back then it wasnt too uncommon. hahahaa Peeps knew how to toss a bucket and get water. Do you ? If all water companys shut down all over the world would you be a survivor ? Tasted pertty good to me.Nope nope nope. Guess I’m spoiled.
