So it's normal for poodles to have lots of hair between their toes? Scooter's got it bad. And he's sensitive or ticklish or something... big fat baby! They have a special blade called a toe blade that they use on poodles. That way you can get it all the hair between their toes and the pads of their feet. You can also do it with the regular blade just not as precise. I make them lay down and I spread their toes apart. I usually sit down because it’s tedious and depending on the dog how well they cooperate.
Yeah, instead of a little cage like they are in now. It is closed in on one end for protection from wind, then i am putting a bit of a divider about 1/4 of the way along the length. So its like a bedroom. Then the rest of the length is open so they can run around ( but it has a roof over in case of rain or snow. I need to build a feeder and set up a waterer.a run like a chickens run ?
I always used a #10 or #15 blade for feet. Never bothered with toe blades. I usually flip the dog upside down in my lap with its head against my chest then i get a good angle on feet. Have to be fast when you do it for a living. Used to shave feet on the Lhasa Apsos i had because they stay cleaner that way. They have a special blade called a toe blade that they use on poodles. Most dogs have a lot of hair on their feet, but dislike having their feet held because they can't escape! So it's normal for poodles to have lots of hair between their toes? Scooter's got it bad. And he's sensitive or ticklish or something... big fat baby!

I have one at the beginning of May. Don’t know if Im going now or not. Babies in a tote won’t fit?I keep making plans for the swap next month then remember the car. It wont fit anything. I get mad all over again.
It sounds more ideal really. I just like fluffy animals but no time to groom everyday. As is I’ve been trying to make time to shave the dog.The thing is, lionheads are fairly new and vary a lot. Personally, i think people like furry rabbits because they are cute but no one wants to brush daily. So i breed for a bit fluffy but not excessive. Some people prefer really hairy ones. I do not show , i breed what i prefer not for a standard. To me health and reasonable amount of care are most important. So they may be lionheads, but just too much fur for my preference.
