I got the tractor cleaned out and the feed moved. I need DH to help me move the tractor. Then I'm moving the silkies/other chicks over.


One of my honas has an injured eye. It was swollen the other day and I thought maybe it was sinus related, but today I caught him and it's milky and seems torn. Not sure how he managed that. Of course it was one I wanted to sell as a breeder. :/

That is adorable!  The keet is twice as big as the chicks.  Do baby keets have a special name?  keetlets?  keetens? meow

Speaking of, did you also see the blue orp chick? Not as big as the keet, but definitely bigger than the cochins.

DH realized TODAY that we had a guinea keet even though DD and I talked about it for a while yesterday and he contributed to that conversation. :/

1o click start time here!!! I'm on it, told Michael to empty dishwasher and told Joey to pick up the living room. Lol of course I'll go back and do the unfinished stuff.

Meh - don't do it, call them back, point it out and have them do it -- it's the only way they will learn what a finished cleaning job looks like.

Three loads of laundry done, dishwasher unloaded and kitchen cleaned, dog to the park and back - time to sit for a minute. Have a lovely 7 bone roast that is going to go in the oven for tonight's dinner - looking forward to that!

Dishwasher started, kitchen clean. Living room pretty clean minus the kids hanging in there. Made a grocery store trip. Popcorn shrimp and fries and a bunch of football junk food for the day.

No inside chores yet BUT the kids picked up the living room so I can vaccuum.

I went shopping too! Caught lots of good sales. Campbell's soup: 5 for $5. Yogurt 5 for $2. Grapes $1.39/lb. Reduced prices on dog treats, gold peak tea, sliced and shredded cheese, BBQ sauce, apples, and potato chips. AND because our grocery store is precious for every $10 you spend you get a stamp. 10 stamps and you can get a $3 dish from Rachel Ray. It's plain dishes but they're in bright colors and look a little like fiesta ware. So the $100 I spent today got me 10 stamps; I could get a coffee mug! But the cashier only gave me 8 stamps.
