Depends on weather. They’ll be brooder bound until I can get that run reinforced and a coop built in it. I can’t see flock integration going too well yet...some of my girls (yes nugget I’m talking about you!!) are jerks.

Coop chicks are 8wks tomorrow. I guess I can wait about two more weeks to start shuffling.

Camping, you have real skill with pictures. You should be doing something with that. You captured some raw emotions there yesterday that made me cry. I didnt need to know what happened . Just seeing her face told the story.

I did my own photography when I worked for newspapers. In hs I always took pics of our teams when they lost. I had a nice camera but mom borrowed it and it didn’t survive the flood. Another nice camera is on my list if we ever catch a nice windfall in the future. I love staging pics and playing with the levels in editing software. My young friends with nice cameras will click and look at the screen, then click and look at the screen. But I grew up using film, so I think I could be more “present” during events.

I was very glad to see the chickens still had food and water and everyone was ok. 4-5 seramas sitting . I went through the eggs (one had 15) and left them w/ 3-5 each.
