These little monsters don't even need the sugar to get them going. Nana took all their toys away this afternoon. I mean EVERY toy& I have lots. I move every single one into my walkin closet & office. They refused to pick up toys one too many times. Granny went AWAL on them lol. Tomorrow & Thursday they will get to pick the type of toy they want to play with & when they are done playing, it WILL be picked up or no other toy can be taken out.

sounds like GREAT parenting (grandparenting) to me there are consquences in the real world and should be at home as well IMHO

Lady, 1. Boys be crazy! And 2. Gosh. Kids in general ARE exhausting. No way around it. Huge hugs.

Whew what a busy day. Come home from work, drag the peep brooder out to the peep pen so they can have some outside time, grab the dog, walk to the mailbox (yeah that’s a mile y’all) and then decide to water stuff and RELEASE THE KLUCKENS!! So do a general poopy scoop in the backyard/dog area, water all the plants, sun is going down grab eggs, refill water on the chicken coop and water the lavender (which is still angry from being transplanted!) and grapes down there. Tuck in the girls.
By now the sun is gonzo. The peeps are still mingling around the peep pen but aren’t too happy but resist my attempting to herd them back into the brooder. Finally get em in get the brooder back in the garage and phew. Now starting dinner. I’ll be eating at nine lol.

(And this is why I haven’t fixed the handle and other rear light yet on my project wagon...I also haven’t built the peep house either.)

Oh. Bright side I reset the fuel economy thingy on the truck. I may just average out low double digits on this commute!! (This was for the way home which involves a lot of uphill)

Is it strange that the truck is kind of growing on me? I mean...it has more usability and purpose in my eyes than the flex. If I were hauling kids around or many people, yes the flex would win. (Although I still fear the truck more in smaller spaces and parking spots...) but the truck just is more....utilitarian.

I also was behind a hummer today. (Not a full out military humvee but a hummer). I think I was bigger than him. That was a strange feeling.

I think Beth "escapes" the "hair saloon" today I am pooped

So even my niece in her 6th year of vet school (out of 8) know's/ said you need to feed nursing mothers extra so the calcium and what not isn't pulled from the mothers bones.

And yes EVERY time of think of Dr Laura I get pissed all over again, Can you imagine some first time liter owner's listening to such advice.
Most vets know absolutely nothing about dog reproduction. They drink the koolaid that all dog breeding is bad. They want to spay and neuter 4 month old puppies.
