I most vets know absolutely nothing about dog reproduction. They drink the koolaid that all dog breeding is bad. They want to spay and neuter 4 month old puppies.

I went to a vet to have my dogs bred artificially because the male couldn't seem to figure it out. The vet had no idea how to do it. I ended up doing it myself and got pups!

To be fair...a lot of people shouldn’t be breeding their dogs. But a vet you’d hope would know what they’re about.
