Granny's gone and done it again

You need to move somewhere with less snow! Hugs, hope you feel better!
Yes we do, if hubs can ever retire I would like to entertain that idea. I'm not a person that lays down for much, but I can't beat this. Too much hard work for too many years with injuries & now everything crumbling.

Im starving. What if peeps dont care for rice ? I love the mushroom soup. and do you crush that rosemary up ? Thats them long sticks right ? Like pine needles?
you don’t have to add rice. It’s just something else to fill you up. (And honestly Dad asked me if I didn’t add enough because if couldn’t find any.) I leave the rosemary whole. And don’t drain off the broth (you know this) I always have to tell Mom though. She made sawdust chicken several times.

Muscles aren't bad, it's the crumbling back that's killing me. In minutes of shoveling my lower back is burning, trembling getting numb & making it so difficult to even walk. Then the hips go, in tears in seconds. I am so tired of the clucking snow.
:( That's terrible. Can you leave the snow in place and tamp down some walking paths... carve stairways? Then put crampons on your boots to get around.
Like this?

It's pretty, but I think it would get old really fast.

It’s super easy for real. Get a pk of chicken breast & cut all the fat off and cut into smaller pieces. Wash. Put in crockpot with rosemary, black pepper, paprika and parsley. Add enough water to cover the chicken. Set to high and you’re set for a few hrs.

When it’s all white I shred it (or people pick out all the meat :barnie:rant) add 3 large cans of cream of mushroom soup. A splash of milk. Mix. Then microwave 2 pouches of wild and long grain rice. Mix that in and add 2 tabs of butter. Cook 1 hr on high. Then it’s ready to eat! Not a lot of mess to clean up either!
Sounds yummy Alley

When i look at all the work that needs doing in the woods i get discouraged. Not much had been done in a long time here when we bought it. Even the weeds were long. Ticks were really bad. But hubby does most of that stuff and i try to help with the fires. Any way, it keeps us busy.
