Coon couldnt get into the food so he targeted the chicks. Ripped one light off the cage and tore it up, scared the new babies into the corner away from the heat where they froze . all 5 gone.
Mamas have 3 more in the serama coop. 2 pips

So I think we’ve turned a corner, at least for this group of juvies at this brooder if I’m standing right there. I remember Jasper going after every single chicken, one-by-one, as if thinking “ok that one is off limits, let me try this one.” So I know that it won’t necessarily transfer to other birds in other places, but it’s a pretty good start.

was she busy eating chicken poo/treats ?? I know Beth loved them and would almost tear your shoes off your feet to clean the treads for anything stuck in there.

I have a couple pup's that seem to prefer to try and eat the food thru the side of the glass dish its in and then can't figure out why they aren't getting anything.

And OMG the wormer they were given makes for some ROTTEN SMELLING poo
