Parts of it remind me of our children. I think peter pan is a great name for them. Our peter pan kids. never gonna grow up, he never gonna be a man.

those crazy ears kill me. I thought she’d just sneak a little taste, didn’t realize she was going to eat the whole thing.
Then she settled in with a big chunk of poop.

we clean up as soon as we find it but they hide it sometimes

So I think we’ve turned a corner, at least for this group of juvies at this brooder if I’m standing right there. I remember Jasper going after every single chicken, one-by-one, as if thinking “ok that one is off limits, let me try this one.” So I know that it won’t necessarily transfer to other birds in other places, but it’s a pretty good start.
