As to the dog it could be the red area is irritated from the scab/crust where they butchered him I would try maybe a little triple antibiotic the same as you use on your self if you want.

LOL not hardly. I think she was showing off a little. That on the pup isnt where they burned him. thats lower down. I dont know what it is unless he is licking it after I put him to bed..
