Finished 1 row of potatoes, tilled 2 rows, pulled cockleburs, peas are gone. Was it roo or crows? Im gonna replant with blue lake beans & pencil cob corn & the pea seeds I have left. Can plant more peas later after I go to town for seeds.

Out of 10 sugar peas, five are gone. WE think cats?

Spent the morning in the garden. Radishes, cucumbers, and okra are coming up, beans are pushing through. Built a trellis for squash and watermelon ( ) and planted purple basil, sweet basil seeds and golden jubilee tomato plants.
And see, you said you weren't a gardener Camp. Looks like your doing a great job!

I sure do. I was busy making sure all the critters have fresh water. My feels like temp here is 92°. I also am working on the triple brooder, plan to try and sell it at the swap then make myself another later. View attachment 1372388
I just need to put the dividers in and touch up paint, then the roof goes on. It even has cross braces with 2 hooks each to hang up feeders and waterers.

Im home honey. Poured rain on the way, hot sun on the way home. Im tired. Robert made lunch for Tom an I and now resting. Worker is here so they will go get chicken food for me.

I just had a nice visit w/ my oldest GS. Got one of my rings back. Soon as he left Tom asked me how I could stand talking to him after the way he talked to me. I said because he is my blood, my family and a child still. He said well you see I didnt talk to him. I said well, thats your loss .

Good on you Pam that you could forgive him & move on. It's nice that you got your ring back.

I dont want to be a bubble buster but the few I have bought and put on the coop sure didnt last very long. (different brand)

I will say though trying to get to the restroom today and stopping in the middle of the isle with fists clenched drew much unwanted attention to me today. Pouring sweat . I had at least 3 people stop to ask me what they could do to help. Next time Im gonna tell one of them to bring me a bucket.

Is it possible for you to walk out to the mailbox & back before you leave for town? The bowel is a funny organ, when you are sedentary often it can get sluggish & pick the most inopportune time to move when you do any kind of walking. Maybe try to do a couple short errands prior to the Wally World stop. That way you might be closer to a restroom if the urge to go hits you.

Hi Lisa, Im glad I got it back too. I hope that works. I went 3xs before I left but it stormed really bad and it was hard driving . I had a headache before I got there.

Pam, have you read my post over in the Emergency thread? I've got a hen with a bad busted up toe. I feel so bad, she wasn't even limping, but it sure was hurting her as I was cleaning it.
