Granny's gone and done it again

Isnt that how color changing paint works too ?
As far as I know, thermal color changing paint changes its structure based on heat changes. I know computes use "liquid crystal" to make screens that work in a similar manner, but I don't know the technicalities behind it.

somewhere in the back of this ol brain I remember learning about this but I dont remember much. seems like they compared it to how dogs see black, greys and white. I dont think that is even true today. But something about how the pupil refracted light as to what color you saw and even color blind peeps had a flattened pupil or some such. Thats been a few yrs back.

I remember getting into arguments in class weather or not black was a color or not. (Hint, it is not), I do remember doing this color test to see how many colors if you can distinguish (if you got a 0, it was the best score, something about how normal humans have 3 color cones, but some women are known to have four like bees). I scored a 0, and I thought it was my calling to be an artist because I could see color well. Probably more of a curse though, I can never find two shades of colors that match perfectly! One is always a bit off...

Fun fact: dogs have two color cones, blue and yellow
