The lower part of the toe is rock hard, dont know how I would cut threw it to be able to leave skin to cover the exposed joint.Me too. That why I say take the skin now while its still healthy to cover the bone that will be left.
I think that would be the easy part. attaching skin to skin would be hard. The lower part of the toe is rock hard, dont know how I would cut threw it to be able to leave skin to cover the exposed joint.
2 cuts. 1st the bone(cut it short) then cut the skin lower towards the nail so you can pull it over. The lower part of the toe is rock hard, dont know how I would cut threw it to be able to leave skin to cover the exposed joint.
I could do it. Not sure how steady my hands would be for stitches. super glue would just leave me attached to the chicken.I think about the only way I could fix her toe would be to take a brand new pair of pruning shears & shear off the whole toe, but she probably would bleed to death. Plus I can do lots of things, but that would be over my comfort level. I would put her down before that. It is causing her lots of pain.
