If you were making breeding pens for your chickens. What would do? I like the look of the a frames but I don’t know how well that would work.

I dislike A frames because they give little usable space. I would make several pens parallel and then have a coop area for each pen with common walls. I can draw a set up if you like.

That's really sad & very bad manners on their part. I would have been livid if I paid for plane tickets & a place to stay for a family wedding & ended up being snubbed. I think they probably would REALLY regret inviting me before everything was said & done. I bet your parents were really glad they didn't go.

Hi Lisa, watched a movie with Robert. He helped me with the chickens today !! Mostly just opening and closing the gate as I moved the grow outs to the big pen. He did go in the run once to close the pop door though.

Wow Pam, that's great plus he mowed yesterday. Sounds like he's definitely learning some life skills & possibly took to heart what his worker said to him about doing things for his Mom. Whatever the motivator, I'm impressed.
