I don’t know, she took the bottle and left me a handful of tablets. It’s all been very frustrating. I appreciate her help, but I prefer to decide my own course after receiving input from various sources. Now if I lose them I’m going to feel like it’s her fault.

I didn't look long, and could only find dosage for the liquid version. Onion Creek Ranch says overdosing with this makes them constipated. Poor goaties.

How are Herkey and Ms. Natalie?

Ms. Natalie was well on her way out, so I’m not bothering her. She seems calm and comfortable.

Herkey laid an egg, but her injured leg is straight back and I’m afraid it’s too damaged to repair. I’ll have to work on her later. I was waiting for the saline wash and DH wasn’t in a hurry like I was.

Vet gave me Albon, a sulfa med. This is also a sulfa med, but neighbor went to same vet last year, treated with same stuff he gave me, and she lost her goats. So she’s giving me the stuff that saved hers.

I want to do something nice for the birds I lost, maybe plant a few fruit trees. These Apple seeds would be nice, but not sure if I could actually keep them alive.

can you call the vet? ask them if its a better med. Since you dont have the bottle did you make sure it wasnt expired ?

It’s not a very good vet. I trust the neighbor more, but she lost a ton of goats last year so I also don’t. I’m in a really weird place and I just can’t find my way out.
