thank you ! I do too . they are orphs. I didnt expect all that color right off. I know it takes them a long time to mature but thats ok with me too. and now I have those 8 eggs in the bator too. those are wyandottes . Blue laced red.can never forget the coops

I like wyanndotts. I had gpld laced ones
that was a light brahamayour EEs matured faster then mine did as far as laying but mine did the double yolkers for about 4-5 eggs then started laying normal. I hope yours do too because thats not really a good sign for the hen.
remember when you got an egg in an egg ? what hen laid that ?
