Thanks for breakfast Misty, very yummy indeed. What are your plans for today? If your temps have any say in the matter I'm sure crawling a big Rock to stay cool. I feel so bad for you & Cap right now. Those are really high temps for the first part of May. I would be useless, just a dripping puddle on the floor. Guess If I going to get any thing done I better get my tush in gear.

Good Morning Grannyland, looks like it is going to be a beautiful sunny day today. Means I should try to get some staining done. I think highs of 65° is what weatherman is calling for. I have so much painting & staining that needs done around here & I absolutely hate doing that stuff. I would rather dig a ditch then paint. And hubs purposely tries to be sloppy about doing it because he knows my OCD-Ness will kick in & I will tell him not to bother grr.....

I just crawled out of bed. I just kept falling back to sleep after my alarm went out.
I decided the chickens needed to get out of the coop and then opened up the barn. I discovered a dead bunny kit still in the sack with a really big umbilical cord, stuck on top of the nest box! But no other babies in sight. Then i fed and watered the turkey poults. Checked the new chicks, one was nearly dead. That Brinsea heater contraption must not be hot enough. I need to put a bulb in there too i guess. Put the chick into a bator to see if it revives. What a day so far.
