Granny's gone and done it again

Wow, that's scary, I didn't realize Connecticut had problems with tornados.

Haha, dang broodies

We call it Smella-Vision :gig

That's crazy, glad she is ok.

Pam I'm sorry your birds are sick, but like you, having Tom hurting like he is & having trouble with his leg & foot is definitely #1 concern :hugs

That not good, hope they decide to treat versus test today.

Yes he does!

Im with you Alley, I would pick the 2 middle ones.

Congrats H2o, that's a huge undertaking, once you get off of it you feel so much better. I've done this myself, but of course have fallen by the wayside once again.

Aww, that was very sweet of him to water your tree granny.

Scary stuff :hugs

It's the best darn chicken site ever!

:gig:lau:yuckyuck That all depends if we are talking about our menfolk.

Thanks for the yummy breakfast Misty. You & hubs are in my thoughts & prayers. Praying gor good news today :hugs

Good advice about packing a bag.

:woot :clap Fill er up, sorry about Herkey Camp :hugs How is the new calf doing?

He’s good. I’m about to go give him more electrolytes.

Well, no staining got done yesterday. It was so windy I didn't dare try to stain the deck or I would have had stain all over the siding. Worked on hauling a huge pile of dirt & ground up stumps to all my back flower beds that my chickens had destroyed this spring. My poor plants had looked like little islands. Chickens had totally dug all the dirt out of the beds. Nothing but roots left in there. Was intending to use the pile for in between the garden rows, but flower beds needed it worse. Sat down last night to try to catch up, but kept falling asleep in my chair. I sat to the dinner table probably an hour after everyone else got up & left. My back & feet were hurting so bad I didn't dare try to get up until the motrin kicked in. I just don't know what to think. I am not diabetic, but my feet burn like they are on fire in addition to the Planter Fasciitis pain in the left heel. I went thru 3 pairs of shoes & one pair of boots trying to complete the job yesterday, not a single pair made them feel any better. I normally have a pretty high tolerance to pain, but I just can't get past this back & foot pain this year. It has me in constant tears, so very frustrating. I guess enough complaining, I need to get something achomplished today, even if it's wrong, bbl.
There is a disorder that causes that, forget the name but maybe i can find it . Maybe Reynauds? I will try to look it up.
Sounds more like burning feet syndrome. Look it up...

Well, as usual I'm late to the party.

Granny, hope this appointment leaves you feeling better better about things, not worse. Sorry about the chickens. One person can only do so much.

Sorry about Herkey, Camping. Hope you get loads of Herkey Jrs. :jumpy Oh, and I'd feel a lot better about the calves and the little girly goat if I saw some new pictures of them. :D

Cap, sorry about your losses lately. With the ground birds, the survival strategy is quantity over quality, so I think some loss is to be expected.

Misty, I really admire your positive attitude. It's very inspiring. :)

Lisa, so sorry about the pain. Sounds like you have tried a lot of different things to help, but sometimes the best remedy is rest. :hugs I get the idea rest isn't your cup of tea!

Morning h2o. I will see how close that person is who needs the pet sitter.

Happy Hump Day to Alley and Pro!

Today is big chore day. I am staying home and going to try to check some items off my long list.

We had rock fish, breaded with panko crumbs, broccoli, and leftover pasta. #2 made himself fish burgers with cheese, ketchup, onion and pickle. They just sort of disappeared down his throat. sluupe!
You should make some Libyan A'Harymi!
