Granny's gone and done it again

Sorry Granny. Not good. Hugs.
Thanks. I wish they would pass on their own. It is about 10 degrees cooler today and starting to rain so thats good. For me anyway. Will ruin their water w/ the meds in it. They probably wont move either. I guess I should of put them in the coop. Had there been only one or 2 sick hens I would of been more aggressive in their treatment but not a whole coop.

Wait...... granny, just got caught up. Praying that everything goes well today. Safe travels, I'm more concerned that they should be treating Tom instead of running tests today. Hot calf & black/purple toes aren't good. Dad went down that road, pretty scary stuff. You both are in my prayers, May God bring you both peace & spare Tom anymore suffering if it's his time. I hate putting that in words, but I know you will understand what I'm trying to say. I love you :hugs

My friend in Connecticut just had a tornado go through her farm!
Wow, that's scary, I didn't realize Connecticut had problems with tornados.
Got 4 broodies hogging prime nest boxes. I don't want to bother building something when it's only temporary. If the garage isn't open, she crams in with Ginger and lays there.
Haha, dang broodies
But, chicken TV .. LOL
We call it Smella-Vision :gig
Yes. Twenty big trees down fencing down. Her horses got loose. Everything is fine now.
That's crazy, glad she is ok.
You know I think Im doing pretty good for someone whos hopes and dreams are laying in the dirt dying right now. I honestly think the fact that my DH may be facing an amputation is keeping my mind off them. hahahaa Im losing my mind . this crazy place I am in right now aint so bad. I might just stay here a while.
Did I tell anyone my grow out jub roo died ? Know what that means ? I have been feeding jubs for a yr and half for no other reason then to watch them die. I cant bring a roo in even if any of these do happen to make it. Hell I cant bring anything in. what does that leave me ? seramas , 3 white polish and 3 buttercups in the barn. there is 2 mini polish in the serama coop. and they are all going to have to be in the serama coop. hahahaaa Maybe I can weed all the roos out of there and make some room. Somehow it just dont seem very important now.
Pam I'm sorry your birds are sick, but like you, having Tom hurting like he is & having trouble with his leg & foot is definitely #1 concern :hugs
many yrs back we got a mri of his whole body that showed he was full of clots/plak in the arteries he is having calf pain , its hot and his toes are purple .
That not good, hope they decide to treat versus test today.
He needs to be seen asap!
Yes he does!
I’m leaning towards the middle 2. That last one has a ton of hair! @CapricornFarm what do you think?

Im with you Alley, I would pick the 2 middle ones.
I am feeling better. 7 days off sugar!
Congrats H2o, that's a huge undertaking, once you get off of it you feel so much better. I've done this myself, but of course have fallen by the wayside once again.
I sure hope we do tomorrow. Robert carried 3 gallon bucket of water down to the tree they planted . I watched him. He was so patient ! He would pour/wait/ move to a different location around the tree and repeat . I also noticed on his way back he paused and did a funny step when he got close to the chickens. Not sure what that was. Scared ?
Aww, that was very sweet of him to water your tree granny.
No he never goes. We wont know anything tomorrow I wouldnt think. Unless the tissue is dying. It blocks blood flow when he is standing, sitting he gets color back. He noticed when he walks the back of Both calves are getting tight and painful but one more then the other and the color change is just in one.
Scary stuff :hugs
This is one heck of a chicken site hu ? LOL
It's the best darn chicken site ever!
I guess we mostly talk fowl . hahaaa
:gig:lau:yuckyuck That all depends if we are talking about our menfolk.

Good advice about packing a bag.
DH really liked Herkey. He said “it doesn’t hurt to incubate a few.” So I’m going to fill the bator. :D
:woot :clap Fill er up, sorry about Herkey Camp :hugs How is the new calf doing?

Well, no staining got done yesterday. It was so windy I didn't dare try to stain the deck or I would have had stain all over the siding. Worked on hauling a huge pile of dirt & ground up stumps to all my back flower beds that my chickens had destroyed this spring. My poor plants looked like little islands. Chickens had totally dug all the dirt out of the beds. Nothing but roots left in there. Was intending to use the pile for in between the garden rows, but flower beds needed it worse. Sat down last night to try to catch up, but kept falling asleep in my chair. I sat to the dinner table probably an hour after everyone else got up & left. My back & feet were hurting so bad I didn't dare try to get up until the motrin kicked in. I just don't know what to think. I am not diabetic, but my feet burn like they are on fire in addition to the Planter Fasciitis pain in the left heel. I went thru 3 pairs of shoes & one pair of boots trying to complete the job yesterday, not a single pair made them feel any better. I normally have a pretty high tolerance to pain, but I just can't get past this back & foot pain this year. It has me in constant tears, so very frustrating. I guess enough complaining, I need to get something achomplished today, even if it's wrong, bbl.
