Awesome way to goI think she is still at her son's place up around Watford City, evidently he just bought a house here in town and she came out to help. Also he and his wife just had a little a couple month's ago, number 4. Not sure when she is headed back to Penn.

haha! No, not much surfing up here... we got killer undertows and sneaker waves. Water temp hovers in the low 50s. brrrr. I'm about 30 miles from the coast. Takes about 45 mins on a fast day to get there. Coast line is rugged up here. Beaches are very steep and rocky. 10 feet into the surf line and you are up to your chest and lose your footing very easily... only very strong swimmers are safe. How close to the ocean are you Wishin? Close enough to go surfing pretty regular?
They hunt the seals, but sometimes make mistakes. oopsie
Watch out, he might be a zombie. Don't let him bite you!Jesus, Mary and Joseph !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here he is trying to stagger in again, I can hear him fumbling at the door.
The thing with great whites is that they explore things by tasting them. But they bite so much off in one bite, not likely to survive unless very lucky.haha! Hubs used to free dive for abalone... until a guy got decapitated by a white shark in the same location a week later. Oh, did I mention the great whites? They hunt the seals, but sometimes make mistakes. oopsie

Water warms up somewhere south of Santa Cruz or Santa Barbara and the beaches are less rocky and have a more shallow slope. If you want BayWatch beaches, got to head down to southern California. I'm about 60 miles north of San Francisco.
