Granny's gone and done it again

Are the staff not checking on them? That just seems wrong to not notice. Especially when they have young they need to be checked all the time!

The entire herd can hide/disappear in the big pastures lots of dips and hills and what not for them to hide. And since both 4-wheelers are broke/not working its hard to check all the spots.

:idunno with the wonky weather and what not all I know is less then a week, Enola had some maggots, Calf was pretty much just skin and bones.
Could be Enola died during calving, and the baby died without its mama. :(

ditto or after affects from the birth, if it was her's would have been her third so there should NOT have been any problems
Not necessarily true. My mom had serious issues on her third pregnancy... placenta tore away from uterus and she almost bled to death. I was 5 and didn't even know it, but we almost lost both of them.

they were at least a couple hundred yards from each other.
