All the critters are drinking more water. I filled all the waterers last night and several needed filling today.
The turkeys enjoyed being outside today. The young SS were out for the first time today as well. The turkeys sort of hung around while i was cutting brush. The guineas were hanging around too, maybe hoping for bugs to be stirred up.

I went out to water chickens and got sick. Headache, nausea. heat stroke? Its terrible out. Had to find my breather.

Went with the boys to a car show in town this morning, then over to dad's with sis and bro and an old friend of his for a Father's Day feast... panini sandwiches. Of course we all ate too much.

Finally heard from hubs just now. Apparently ATT shut off his international service when he got to Japan.
He climbed Mt. Asahi, 2260 meters high. (7400 ft)

Not much new to report here. I noticed Chicory (the bun) has a bare patch on the side of his face. It has been wet and sticky for a couple of days and I thought he was just getting it wet from the water bowl. Pretty sure he had an abscess. He seems a little stronger now but he never did quit eating. I got his age wrong... he's older than I thought. 11+ yrs!

There was a super rich dude that got called out on the news for being an extreme water user, like 10 times over the allotment. He said there was no way they used that much. Turns out it was a leaking pipe, but good they found put the problem.

News is lucky the guy didn't sue them for libel.

So I went to clean the chicken coop yesterday. My shavings...are more dust than shavings!! Fail kahoots!! Oh well. Guess I’ll get the good stuff for next week.
