So I’m doing an experiment. Humidity is 47% in the bator. I need to clean the hatcher out in the morning but I want to see if putting barley in the bator will bring the humidity down. I was out of rice.

same. I’m heat intolerant. I can deal with about 75-85 (85 is pushiyit) but anything higher I’m sweating.

Cinder’s daughter, I’m calling her Briar. Her eggs (under big Hank) were the ones I really wanted, and the snake ate them.

Compared to them it seems pretty clear that the lav is a roo. Remember he was puny/skin and bones and I put him back in the brooder? I think it delayed development/stunted his growth.

I did a headcount tonight:

37 chickens (15 are roosters)
3 guineas and 12 keets
3 muscovies and 11 lings.

Not too bad. I really need to clear out some roos.

Yes, they had fun. But did not go back in their tractor! And i have another guinea missing! The other one never came back, sadly. So only 11 in the coop tonight. I had to carry all those turkeys back into the tractor, 2 by 2.
