Granny's gone and done it again

Collecting.. TBAS = Tampa Bay Aquarium Society and The Aquatic Club of Pasco County..

I collect, breed and sell ornamental tropical fish.. I've pretty much cut down on breeding, but I'm still very much involved in the hobby.. I presently have seven fish tanks, down from 17.. Most of the fish I sell now I get from a couple fish farms I'm registered with.. I get them wholesale, and sell them forward..



Don't feel bad, I used to go a lot (I've been in Florida for 23 yrs), but gave it up yrs ago.. I can't stand the sun.. Every time I went to the beach I stood under a beach umbrella, lol..

Tho recently I told my lawn man to stop coming by till I call him.. So I recently, about a month now, been cutting the grass myself.. It's a lot of sweat, but I love it out there..

However, I do have a metal plate, you can't tell unless you look close, on the left side of my head; but that's a story for later - remind me pls..

Every time I went to the beach I stood under a beach umbrella, lol..



Madeira Beach, it's sugary white sand, it's majestic.. I used to stay up and watch the sunset and get up early and watch the sun coming up the next day..

You had 17!? And I bet they weren’t small tanks.

I love aquariums. Although my mom swears she’ll never have another after a frog jumped in her coffee cup. I had put tadpoles in the tank and well they thrived lol

I always said I was going to buy an umbrella to take lol they either want a arm and leg or they are all taken.


That beach sounds lovely. I’ll have to check it out to see exactly where it is.

Farm was good. Got some more nice people lesson's in with Granola. So far as made NO attempt at charging either Rod or myself. Loves scratches/rubs in that spot between her horn and ear.

Did some more week patrol and removal of some wormwood, Canadian thistle and hens bane in the paddocks. Moved a 10 hole nest box from annex to gen pop. and removed a 10 holer from gen pop that was in serious need of repairing. Got that done and then re-installed the repaired one back down in the annex.

According to Rod we now have 4 broody muscovies (all in the chocolate pen) they are all in a line like the nest/eggs are in a trench. NO idea how many eggs they are sitting on.

4 rooms out for the night PLUS rented another weekly with the possibility of another weekly/monthly tomorrow.

4! How many did I say you’d have?

Ugh. Calfire needs to get my hubs working again.

Between him being off work and playing with his truck (especially playing with his truck holy cow parts are expensive) I can’t afford too much longer of this!! I don’t make that much!!

About half of them were 5, 10, 20 gallons, I still have a 90 gal, a 55 gal, and two gals, are my biggest; and i plan on only keeping three, on in the foyer, the living room, and one, or two in my bedroom, lol

Fish tanks are so easy to maintain now.. Why with all the technology.. I take less than one hour on Saturdays to do water changes, then on Tuesday or Wednesday, every two weeks, I clean out the filters..

I always said I was going to buy an umbrella to take lol they either want a arm and leg or they are all taken.

Lol, it's better with an umbrella, I always wanted to buy one, but ended up renting one - "procrastination" is going to kill me, lmao..

From Tampa or Clearwater you take I-275 or SR 19 south headed for St. Pete, and follow the signs to all the beaches.. Right by John's Pass..

What’s wrong with my coffee lol I’ve not been making any. I had a iced coffee from McDonald’s yesterday.

Hahaha! I can understand why you have so many. But dang they ain’t cheap. But I bet they are beautiful!

Yeah I have a turtle tank. Picking up a bigger one today, need to order a stand. It’s different keeping one now than 20years ago. Much easier to keep clean.

Yeah same here. Except I’m usually too cheap to rent one lol
