Granny's gone and done it again

Is Janet a yak? Maybe going to calve?

Yes

she's the 16 year old who was open last year after having 5 bull calves in a row for the previous owner. I suspect that there may be another calf on the ground soon :fl

And if 19 doesn't do something soon she is going to POP , she is huge and the belly bulge is lopsided so I don't think its just fat/meat

I got my lumber, a metal clad exterior door for $25. for the coop, 3 cans of paint cheap. Free wood. I was hoping to get some free saw dust but they didn't answer their phone. I bought 5 bags of mulch for $10. And a bag of play sand for my white quail. They look kind of orangey right now , due to our sand. I need to get some pictures to sell eggs and baby quail. I am getting lots of eggs!
Im glad you got what you have been waiting on.

Hi everyone, phew.... hundreds of posts to get thru, finally caught up. Has been a crazy, busy week here & for many others by the posts I've read. Granny ~ so sorry that your having such awful stress & anxiety. :hugs Sure wish I was wealthy, would help you out in a minute. I think for the moment you just need to not worry about the lawn. It is too hot out there for you to mow even if your mower was working. The boys can keep the dog yard mowed with the push mower. When is Tom's surgery scheduled for? What is the time frame they are thinking that Tom will need to use the wheel chair? Weeks~months?? Will your car handle a wheelchair hitch?
Camp ~ so sorry that the AC is down in the kitchen. I worked at 2 places as the baker without an air conditioned kitchen. It was awful, one place was so bad that it would be over 95. I would stand at the dough counter & just cry because I was so hot & the dough would raise so fast in that heat. It was a constant battle to get it cut back & formed into sweet rolls & twists before it was going over the edge of the counter. I don't miss those days at all :hugs. Fingers crossed that the AC is fixed soon.
It's been a very toasty week here. Upper 80°s at the beginning of the week & 90°s since Wednesday, with high humidity. Have been staining decks, patio furniture & kiddos cabin half log boards. Tomorrow I have the large deck to get a first coat on. It's supposed to be in the mid 90°s, high humidity & a heat index of 105°. Sounds like it will be a blast to work in. Hubs & I celebrated out 34th wedding anniversary today. Had T-bone steaks on the grill ~ yum, then ice cream for desert :drool
Sure hope everyone is staying hydrated & safe through this heat wave that is hitting many. Sure could use some rain to relieve me from all the watering of the gardens & greenhouse.
Lisa, prayers for your family. May the good lord give you strength to care for the littles.
Thanks, I always need the extra prayers when the grandsons come to stay, lol.
Save one for me!!!! :drool

Wow, dd must feel 10 pounds lighter after having all that hair cut off. Her cut looks great, beautiful gal like her momma. Bubba is just as cute as ever. He just makes me want to squeeze him.
and after

:he:th:hugs
Having been through that a few times I "feel her pain". Hope all goes well with the tests.

That is, er WAS, a lot of hair!

I looked up the nutritional stuff before I realized most of it was on the box pictured. BUT oddly, the numbers on their website don't quite match what is on the box, the box on their site matches what you posted:
Box / Nutrition info
Calories 420 / 410
Sat fat 4g / 4g
Sodium 800 mg / 890 mg
Sugars 30g / 29g
Protein 26g / 27g
Vit C 90% / 90%

I wonder why the cover doesn't match the required info. Graphic artist didn't get the proper data maybe?

Thanks Bruce, have been thru a few myself. Not a fun precedure for sure.
Pro, his credit cards need to have an unfortunate accident... with a pair of scissors.
I agree 100%
So frustrating, darned rabbits keep eating my flowers. Like the whole plant. Going to build a gate today for my area with the strawberry plants. Bbl.
Dang rabbits are eating my garden to shreds. Spent the day putting up more fencing to try to keep them out. As I get older I certainly have less patience from all the dang creatures that are determined to destroy my gardens. Between disease/blight, rabbits, deer & bugs it's hard to get anything to the point of producing.
:gig:lau
Black eyed susans got eaten too. I am really tired of it!
