So had a hum dinger of a storm go thru last night MOST of the town ended up with out power for well over 2 hours. and a number of other towns in ND same thing over an INCH of rain last night as well

Bought Running's out of All flock today all four bags , and then a bag of beet pulp pellets as a treat/bribe for Granola, and a bag of oyster shell.

got the trailer unloaded from tues auction. hooked the 3 pt mower to boomer and mowed down some Wormwood and other undesirables in prep for haying next week, Then switched the mower for the sickle mower and got that good to go as well. spent time with Granola and then the 4 duck hens who are collectively brooding a whopping 12 eggs. And some other random stuff done.

Janet was really being "strange" today kept wandering around by herself BUT didn't stay in any one area for more then a few minutes. She was also panting/breathing hard. Got more rain this evening. AND got a shower in before the power goes out can NOT shower by the light of an oil lamp.

I got my lumber, a metal clad exterior door for $25. for the coop, 3 cans of paint cheap. Free wood. I was hoping to get some free saw dust but they didn't answer their phone. I bought 5 bags of mulch for $10. And a bag of play sand for my white quail. They look kind of orangey right now , due to our sand. I need to get some pictures to sell eggs and baby quail. I am getting lots of eggs!
