Cap, You will like this. On the main post , see the cut out where the side post attaches ? Mine is installed sideways. The side post was screwed in from the back into the end of it.

I got almost one side of the lean-to done with hardware cloth and wired on. And i cut a piece to fit over the end of the perch so coons should not be able to grab the turkey off the roost. I need to go all the way around the bottom now that i have the hardware cloth. Not happy with the chicken wire, but it was all i had at the time.

Did you get a good price? I am looking for airline tickets to Detroit.

Reasonable. United SFO to Cincinnati, nonstop. If you aren't buying at least 4 weeks in advance, the prices are quite expensive. You have to find which airlines have a hub in Detroit. They will have more flights and be cheaper. Southwest is pretty good.

There are other ways to mount a mailbox... I'm trying to find a pic.
