Granny's gone and done it again

So we were over there working, power tools buzzing, guineas yelling, and then every so often i though i heard a chicken in pain. So when i stopped for lunch, i went and looked at the young chickens. The two that were in with guineas had bloody beaks! Idk why they did that, they have game bird starter pretty much all the time any time they want to eat. So now i have two chickens that need their own space until they heal. I stuck them in a dog crate near the barn. The turkeys thought it was all so interesting, they kept looking in an peering at the chickens! The chickens were understandably nervous.
I cleaned their beaks off with iodine and dabbed some blue food coloring on there so they don't peck each other. Cripes, it is always some drama around here!

My guineas are super horrible to chickens. The three guineas have whipped every single hen and roo I’ve got.

Mine were mean til the hens went to set then the males left the chickens alone but the second their mates came off the nest they went right back after the chickens. Thats how they earned their own coop.
