Merry Christmas everyone! We had fun last night at Christmas Eve dinner. Ended up with way, way too much junk food. Even managed to bring home a full plate of cookies again today lol Now we are waiting on some enchiladas to bake for lunch and settled in for some gaming. Hope everyone has a good day today!

I don't keep flour in my house. I have to make a crisp topping for my sweet potatoe casserole.

Probably too late, but oatmeal, brown sugar and butter make a decent crust for crisps.

Granny, you always want to know what it's like with a preacher for a dad: we were getting ready to eat supper when dad got a phone call. He had to run out the door so he could pray over a dying woman before she passed. He was gone about an hour. Not many professions offer holiday house calls without charging giant fees.

He said the lady had perked up by the time he got there (20 minutes from call) and said "I'm not dying today!"

Also found this little treasure my great aunt painted 20+ years ago. She had such incredible talent.

It's a cracked one, and it has the most horrid air cell I've seen yet, whether in pics or real life. Saddles on both sides of the egg, and fluid in them too...
