I got a memory on FB from 4 yrs ago that frosty was settling in to her new home and getting ready for her spay.

does any one know if heat can affect the size eggs a hen lays ??

Maybe smaller if she is dehydrated?

My squash is dying. has ants and some type of yellow fungus maybe on it. squash sets on starts to grow then rots

Here is what i am talking about as far as quail jumping out of the cage. Cages like this are harder for them to jump out of when you open the door.
This is the one i am working on, i cut the pieces for the doors tonight.

looks like a better system and with the wire floor you shouldn't have to much "cleaning out" where a door to the floor would make it easier.

I always use heavy wire for the floors for rabbits and birds, except the cage in the turkey coop.
