it seems to. Other then a couple of the calves who who went exploring last summer and they didn't go far I used 4 strands about 10 to 12 inches apart and then alternated wooden and metal t posts 10 feet apart so not a lot of give to the wire.
Chicken Newsflash! My Maran, Lola, laid an egg Saturday! nice dark brown, AND... She is back on the nest today!AND... my blue Wyandotte pullet has squeezed herself in the nest box next to Lola, so could be a first egg ever day for Fern.
Sadly, no Christmas eggs, not even from the bantams. Guess they were taking a holiday!
