the calves are NOT to sure about humans yet BUT once in the chute are usually pretty calm and you can pet/rub/scratch to your hearts content. And with a little help it's pretty easy to get them into the chute area and thru it.

Ugh. She came back. Asked what time my timer was set to (I said 2 that’s when the rate changes) “let’s do a slow climb” cranks it to 80.

My god. If by some oddness I am broody....I will be pulling that excuse I think. A lot. This is bunk.

So the vet visit was $183.65. $15. for Charlie, rabies tag and vaccine.
$36 office visit, rabies shot for Mini with tag, Heartworm test, interceptor plus for a year.
I like them in that office, but vet care is nuts in price these days.

Well Charlie doesn't go out much and he's so old and decrepit i don't get him meds for that.

I was surprised Mini weighs 61 pounds until i picked her up to put her on the exam table!

So I heard back from IYAK and somewhere along the line I09 and I44's dna sheets/records got swapped. So the long and short of it from my end is
1) they are removing I44 from my ownership on their site,
2) Maiah and 19 are NOT related
3) they have to "issue" new pedigree papers for Maiah , Martinika , Fifth of Porter and I think I09. PLUS hunt down all the other calves either I09 and I44 have had in their lives PLUS any offspring on down the line.

4) I was told that I was originally correct in all of my statements.
