We got the bobcat running and Rod very gently scooped Sheila up with the grabble and VERY slowly and gently hauled her down to the pit. He had put carmex around his nose and was wearing one of those white filter masks.

are those condisered "blues" very pretty color the birds themselves selves not so much

not true blues. I love blue. The mom is a looker but is currently molting so looks rough.
But I’m hoping 1 with good feathering is a roo so I can cross to the splashes to work on calico since they have gold.

still 3 littles in with the yearlings BUT on hen sitting on 10 eggs or more still/again??

The nest with 20 plus eggs right by the gate in the annex has been abandoned, and eggs are now in the creek. But have 3 broody hens in to tire nests in the building. I think at least one of them had started the outside nest.

I think so. They are the youngest bunch I have but the ones from the broody that was hatched before these are 2x the size/poof.
Most are blue partridge like the mother. But instead of the silver like she has these have gold. Gonna be flashy. I want to keep them all.

Curly Sue is up to 33 pounds, and was at 5 bottle by the time I left this evening. With at least one if not to more feedings to go.

I found a guinea nest with 3 eggs in it yesterday in the woods. There are probably a lot of them out there.
