Granny's gone and done it again

She can just get over it granny, you are allowed to change your mind. The van works out best for your needs & she was just given a car that needs a minor repair. There is no guarantee how long the van will even go down the road & it is YOURS. Hopefully it will be good for you for a while. It would be pretty difficult to haul chicken supplies in your mom's old car. Plus it is so hard for you to get in & out of. And if dd is trying to punish you by not talking, she is acting like a child. That's how my dad would act when he didn't get something he wanted. I'M SORRY that she can't see EVERYTHING that you & Tom do for her & her family. You owe her nothing, not even an explanation if you don't want too. Love you hun, hope we didn't wear you out too much with our visit

I'm finally on my heating pad.

The kids won't let me sleep.

. The worst part of being the mom is taking care of yourself when you're sick.

Had to smile at this -was just explaining the difference between a "man cold" and a "mom cold" to DH last night........

Hi Mare! How goes the job search? No TGIF this week for us. Hubs took the week off and kids are off school. I can hardly keep track of the days!

Hey, Wishing - no news yet, trying to hold onto "no news is good news" (sure carried me through some comm blackouts during DH's deployments) --- still some hope of hearing back on the one that was checking my references last week

Quote: My brother works for the county in a supervisory position. So much bureaucracy and so many rules, it takes forever to get anything done personnel-wise in his department. Especially trying to fire an inept worker. Once they are hired, it has to be a criminal offense to get them fired... no exaggeration... and even then they don't press charges. Our tax dollars at work!

Nothing getting done here today. Grandkids dropped off and mom can't find their boots so we won't even be able to go outside. :barnie

Too bad because I have loads of pecans to pickup and didn't get morning chores done yet.

Le sigh - should have just waited another 10 minutes before replying because what should appear in my inbox but a rejection e-mail...............

On the upside, I do have an interview next week so there is that to look forward to I suppose.
