will yet another update on the yak trade, I was approved by the State of ND vet. So good to go on my end at the moment for the incoming girls. As to the boy's , since there are under 18 months and still will be by time of delivery all I need is a CVI of health by my vet with in 30 days of delivery. So I guess the old adage is still true "boys are easier then girls" At least if your not smart enough to vaccinate them properly.

waiting on the locksmith to call and let me know the lock has been repaired for the room with the CRAZY gal and her killer pit bull.

Auction was a bust, we called Sat to make sure there wasn't a "reserve" on any of the side delivery hay rakes, their response "OH NO" so finally just before total black of night they finally get to them, The try to start the bidding at 1500. (nothing) then they try 1000 ( still nothing) ask is their any interest in the rakes, I yell yes but not at those prices!!! Their response "well we can't go any lower" hum sounds like a reserve to me.
I may have let the lady collecting the money know of my displeasure and the own of the auction co was in the trailer with her . I made sure to be loud enough for her to hear as well.

Summary I paid for the gas to bring in the truck and trailer to haul a rake back to the farm, about 65 miles round trip. And spent a total of a DOLLAR for a box of calf (nursing) bottles but only one nipple and a few "hidden treasures" like a large animal pill pusher thingy.
