Well, it IS pretty much impossible to make decent brown gravy without juices from the meat. Did the best you could I think.

WHY did they scrape your gums? I've never even heard of that. Sounds as painful as I gather it was.

Well he was supposed to be scraping my teeth, but that makes my gums bleed. I have had bleeding gums since i was a kid. I have been eating frozen treats and soup all day. :

In less than 12 hours i need to be picking up my new quail!
Their duplex is not ready yet, but i am almost done the quarantine cage. Just have to cut a hole and put a door on over it. Would have stayed out and finished it, but old Charlie wanted in the house and would not shut up. Hubby was trying to sleep!

Yes we were expecting it. Induced labor.

That explains a lot. Both mine were induced over 3 wks early... my water broke but no labor. I am not a fan of pitocin for sure, but grateful they were both born healthy.
